The “good” in “goodbye”
September 5, 2010
Last Friday was another BFF Friday except Krizzia wasn’t around because of their section’s basketball game. So we left school and headed to Gilianne’s house. Exhausted and hungry, we stayed downstairs for a while to wait for dinner. While Willy and I were secretly reading Gilianne’s text messages, the phone rang. We didn’t really care because we knew it was only Gilianne’s mom or prolly Gilianne’s sister. But the call was for me so Gilianne handed me the phone. And it was papa. “Oh ano? panalo kayo? // Did you win the game?”. Dad asked. “Syempre naman papa! Alam mo kung bakit? Kasi ako yung lucky charm ng section namin. Hahaha! // Of course papa! You know why? Because if the lucky charm of our section. Hahaha!“. I joked. He laughed a bit but then there was a short moment of silence. “Oh yakapin mo na si Gilianne. Dumating na yung visa kaninang umaga. // You can now start embracing Gilianne. Our visa already came this morning”. I was shocked of what he blurted and became a little teary-eyed. I had no choice but to inform Gilianne and Willy who was with me during that time. Gilianne started to cry and Willy remained still and quiet.
I have tons of plans before leaving the Philippines. Like saying goodbye to my old guitar and art teacher, going to the dentist for the last time, watching John Mayer’s concert which is on October 1 and etc. About John Mayer’s concert, I’m worried about buying pricey tickets. I remember the Paramore concert tragedy. T_T Many John Mayer fans who attended the Paramore concert are a bit traumatized about it and are afraid that it might happen again. But I’ve been looking forward to John Mayer’s concert more than my birthday so I really hope I could watch it with Gilianne. :D
Now I see Balikbayan boxes and bubble wraps around the house which papa bought this afternoon. I can now feel that we are really about to leave the Philippines. So tomorrow, I’ll inform my classmates and my teachers about this and might as well drop out after our field trip. </3
I just hope I could use my very ample time wisely in accomplishing my plans before leaving. And I hope I could spend time with people who I got really close with. Wish me luck. :)
Happy birthday Elijah Andre!

Happy 6th birthday to my little brother, Elijah Andre. Although we sometimes always fight, I still love you nonetheless. <3
Summer Bliss
April 16, 2010
Nothing is better than having milk tea during a cold night. <3
Summer vacation started weeks ago. I needed to take French lessons this summer due to migration needs but unfortunately I changed my mind about doing so. Well, I haven’t been doing any progress lately. I’ve been spending most of my time on video games. /o/ Plants vs. Zombies is so much love. I even downloaded a PVZ app on my iPod so I won’t have to turn on the PC whenever I feel bored. Lol. Talk about laziness. :\
Last week was my little brother’s Kiddie Crew Workshop Week in McDo. It’s like when you get to be a little employee and work around the register and take people’s orders in the drive thru window. So cool right? If only they had a Teen Crew Workshop for teenagers like me. Haha. On May, we’ll go to World Trade Center for their culminating ceremony. There will be lots of freebies and Ronald McDonald and his friends would be there too. Yay. :D
Yesterday, I got my section for this school year. People started asking about my section but I wouldn’t answer. Lucky for those who will read this because I belong to H3 – Our Lady of the Candles. I just hope my last year in SMA (or prolly in the Philippines) would turn out great. And I wish to graduate here because we’ll be migrating this year in Canada. This May, we’re supposed to leave already but unfortunately, there was something wrong. I won’t spill but it’s about the results of our medical exam.
I feel so accomplished today now that I posted an entry after so many months. I just hope I would get a chance to update a little more often. <3
